Chris got off work early yesterday, so we drove over to Half Moon Bay (which takes like 20 minutes maybe? awesome) to go for a walk...
Not sure what was going on, but we saw probably about a hundred (really) starfish washed up on the shore... I don't know if they were dead (some definitely were, some were curled up...) It was cool to get to see them up close but scary to see so many of them.
I looked online today to see if I could find anything, and I saw that a year ago there were a lot of starfish washing up on the shores of British Columbia and Washington and they thought it might be from a parasite, and on another site said a lot of starfish washed ashore after 'a gale'... So I don't know. But starfish are so cool looking.
And later when we got home, we let the geckos out to explore the living room and stretch their legs. They look so teeny when they're out of their tank!

wow! so many are washed up! I agree with the neet but
creepy assessment. Looks like a nice walk though. 20 minutes to
Half Moon Bay is awesome.
