Now that I am a student again, I needed a part-time job and it just so happened that Lea and Judge were looking for a nanny for their daughter Amelia, so it worked out well for everyone! I send photos and videos to L & J on the days that I'm there, so I have quite the library of photos of Amelia (plus she's just cute and photogenic anyway). I've been nannying for her for a few months now and its already funny to look back at some of these and see how much she has changed in that short time.

I was swamped with school these past few months, hence the lack of updates on the ol' blog, so here's whats been going on in the furry kitty world (and it involves lots of napping):

Mary Lou wants to make her own wedding bouquet with clay flowers (a Japanese/Hawaiian craft) and invited me to come along with her to take a class through DK Design. But first, we had to stop for coffee from Barefoot Coffee Roasters. I think ML got the Cafe Borgia and they put a cute heart in the foam... I forgot what I got (whatever it was, I know it was good) and soy milk doesn't froth as well, so no cute pattern for me in my coffee.

Right after Christmas, I headed up to Oregon to meet little Oliver for the first time and be there for his baptism (I'm also the godmother to his two older brothers, Adrian & Jonah) Unfortunately, this is the one photo that I got from the baptism (I guess I was busy with my godmotherly duties):

After having dinner with Chris' family on Christmas Eve, we headed to my mom's house to be there for Christmas Day festivities (and then back to his parents' the 26th for hockey!)
Christmas morning, Molly and I were up early to work on breakfast:

Nine found some packing paper to lay on and a patch of sunshine and settled in for a little siesta...

Chris' mom felt like we needed some Christmas spirit in our apartment (I don't really decorate, and never had a tree, since we're never really around for the holidays) so she sent Chris home with a miniature artificial tree and decorations. Of course, it had to be inspected by the kitties, who had never had a Christmas tree:
